Absolute snow reliability, no waiting times, perfectly groomed and marked pistes and most of the sunshine hours south of the Alps guarantee the winter fun for the whole family. Again this year: Children’s tariff up to 18 years – for a special family holiday.
Another top-class ski offer can be found near Vierschach, near Sillian, with its helmet tracks. Accessible by car (30 minutes) or by the Puster Valley Railway, from Lienz to Vierschach and back. The Skiexpress from Lienz leaves every half hour!

Cross-country skiing in East Tyrol
Around 140 km of well-prepared cross-country ski trails are at your disposal for your personal cross-country skiing experience! You can experience East Tyrol’s unique nature and the snow-covered landscape while skating or in classic cross-country skiing, the extensive network of trails offers all the opportunities for impressive cross-country skiing in East Tyrol.
Snowshoe tours in the Dolomites
Of course you can also experience a guided snowshoe tour with us in the Lienz Dolomites.
On request, we organize weekly a snowshoe tour up into the heart of the Dolomites, over the Weißsteinalm up to the Auerling. View into the steep cliffs of the Laserzwand or the Spitzkofeltürmen or far up into the Pustertal and north into the Schober group, up to the white summits of the Glockner group.
Equipment and snacks are provided by the hotel.
Ski tours with skins
The mountain dorado Osttirol with its many valleys, starting in the north the whole Glockner area, the Virgen, the Defereggental, as well as the Pustertal up to the Lienz Dolomites in the south, offers unique tour possibilities. Our guests are accompanied by professional ski guides! Equipment, touring skis, boots, gaiters and skins can of course be organized on site.

Toboggan
Fun for the whole family!
The toboggan fun can be indulged in all over East Tyrol and in all valleys.
In the immediate vicinity of the hotel is a perfectly prepared and 7.5 km long natural toboggan run, which is also passable at night. The driveway takes place with taxis or hotel bus to the Dolomitenhütte at 1600m, where you can make a nice mountain walk before departure.
The fun toboggan run will take you from the Dolomitenhütte down to the Kreithof (1048m) and from there to the Tristachersee (830m) and back to the hotel. www.dolomitenhuette.at
Winter hiking for our guests
All beautiful areas we have shown you are also suitable for hiking. Of course, in the valley but also on all heights, you will find slopes and also beautiful hiking trails. This is your winter hiking holiday in East Tyrol
