The history of the Hotel

In 1986, Josef and Christl Kreuzer, the current owner, took over the „Hotel Tristachersee“ from the former owner Hanns Jaufer and re-openend the Hotel after some renovation works, with 20 guest beds in 1987.

After the first extension, the Hotel could be enlarged to 50 guest beds and a sauna.

Many hotel guests and restaurant guests enjoyed our little Hotel and the lake and so it was possible and also necessary to think of another construction phase.

In 1992 we could open for the first winter season at the Tristachersee.

After this renovation, our hotel received over 90 guest beds and other important facilities for our guests.

From this moment on, the hotel was successfull during the summer and during the winter and this success we owe last but not least our numerous guests.

In 2003/2004 we could realise another renovation. We rebuilt the whole section, which is situated directly at the lake and extended the building to 3 floors. Now our hotel has 106 beds.
