Climbing in Lienz

The Lienz Dolomites offer many opportunities for a great climbing experience!

The limestone mountains that rise south of the city of Lienz - the Lienz Dolomites - offers many opportunities for healthy and relaxing activity. There are enough shelters as targets and bases.

A climbing route, in the Dolomites "via ferrata", is a step-by steel cables and grips and a safe path through rocky terrain. Take on the climbing routes around Lienz climbing equipment and harness, with lobster and stone impact helmet.

The paradise for climbers is the "Laserz", the area around the Karlsbaderhhütte. Laserzwand and Red Tower are popular climbing destinations and preferred because of the good rock.

Most of the hiking tours are principally level II. and III., maximum IV.
